Requesting quotes from vendors, politely hounding them for their pricing, verifying the quantities and specifications of the items priced. Then initiating orders and tracking their status until they’re delivered on site. Providing supplementary information needed for their efficient use presented in a format easily understood by workers in the field.

Shop drawing review

Reviewing/verifying/redlining shop drawings created by vendors (cabinet makers, metal fabricators, door manufacturers, etc.) to make sure custom parts arrive on site correctly built for trouble-free installation.

Project schedules

From partial schedules outlining phases of construction that require more detailed sequencing to complete project schedules linking permits, design decisions, inspections, and procurement to all the tasks that need to be executed in the field.
